How long does a solar installation take?
Most homes are finished in one day. Larger systems or battery/EV add-ons can take 1–2 days.
What system size do I need?
We match size to your bills, usage pattern, roof space, and future plans (EV/battery). Many homes start around 6.6–10 kW.
Do you handle approvals, metering and rebates?
Yes. We manage network approvals, smart-meter coordination, apply federal STCs, and advise on any state/retailer offers.
Will my system work in a blackout?
Standard grid-tie systems shut down for safety. Add a battery with backup to power selected circuits during outages.
How will shade or roof type affect performance?
We design around shade and roof materials. Optimisers/microinverters and panel layout improve yield on complex roofs.
How often should I service or clean panels?
A yearly health check is recommended. Clean when visibly dirty or if production drops—frequency depends on local dust/birds.
Can you repair systems you didn’t install?
Yes—fault finding, inverter swaps, isolator/wiring repairs, and performance optimisation on any brand.
How do I monitor performance and savings?
You’ll get app-based monitoring for production (and consumption/battery where applicable). We can set alerts and review trends.
What warranties are included?
Typically 25-yr panel performance, brand-specific product warranties (panels/inverters/batteries), and our workmanship warranty.
